EF’s Job-Loss Money-Back Guarantee Terms and Conditions
EF’s Job-Loss Money-Back Guarantee covers participants on all EFSI, Inc. tours departing between April 1, 2009 and September 30, 2010. To qualify for this program, the participant must be enrolled by October 31, 2009 and have paid a minimum of their $150 enrollment fee on an EFSI, Inc. tour. Additionally, this program is effective starting February 9, 2009 and as such does not apply to cancellations made prior to this date.
To qualify, a parent or legal guardian of the tour participant must provide written proof that they had an unexpected and unforeseen loss of employment. An unexpected and unforeseen job loss is defined as a lay-off or reduction in workforce. Terminations due to cause or voluntary resignations are not covered in this offer. A parent/legal guardian must have been a full-time employee at the company in question for a minimum of 6 months before the job loss occurred. If all qualifications are met, the parent/legal guardian is eligible to receive all fees previously paid for their upcoming tour less a maximum of $100 and any other non-refundable fees (including the participant’s enrollment fee, insurance payments, etc.). Under the same conditions, any participant who is 23 years or older will also qualify for this offer if they personally had an unexpected and unforeseen loss in employment and can also prove that they personally paid for the tour. This offer is valid up to the day prior to the tour’s date of departure.
The parent/legal guardian or eligible participant must provide proof of the date that the job-loss occurred. This should be in the form of a letter on company letterhead indicating the date that the job loss occurred and that the job loss was unexpected and unforeseen. Additionally, EFSI, Inc. (and/or its designated agent) reserves the right to verify this information with the parent/legal guardian’s or eligible participant’s previous employer. To qualify for this offer, the parent/legal guardian or eligible participant must cancel their tour and provide said written proof of job loss no later than 14 days after the job loss occurs. To qualify for this offer, a parent/legal guardian or eligible participant must have been a full-time employee. A reduction in work hours, loss of a part-time position, loss of income/bankruptcy for self-employed individuals or other loss of income are not covered in this offer.
