Why is travel coverage important?
We strongly advise all participants to remain enrolled in our All-Inclusive Coverage Plan with Program Fee Protection. This plan provides comprehensive protection should something unexpected happen before or during your tour and supplements the Medical and Accident Insurance that is already included in your Program Fee.
Medical and Accident Coverage includes:
- Coverage for hospital bills, doctor's fees and medical transportation for illnesses and injury while on tour
- Direct payments made to the hospital in the event of hospitalization
- Travel and accommodation expenses for a family member to be with you while you are hospitalized in the event of a life-threatening illness
All-Inclusive Coverage with Program Fee Protection Plan includes:
- Cancel up to one day before departure and receive a full refund in the form of a travel voucher
- Tour cancellation and interruption coverage
- Baggage and property coverage
- 24-hour emergency assistance
- Travel and weather delay protection
What exactly does Program Fee Protection include?
Program Fee Protection allows participants to receive a SST Future Travel Voucher for all monies paid, less any non-refundable fees, if participants inform SST of their decision in writing not to travel until the day of departure for any reason. The voucher is transferable and may be used toward international programs offered by EF Educational Tours. The SST Future Travel Voucher is not a merchandise credit or a gift certificate.
What happens if a student cancels after he/she enrolls?
We will provide a full refund less a $150 substitution fee for a student who cancels but finds another person to replace him or her for the same program, more than 110 days prior to departure. For all other situations, please refer to the booking conditions or speak to customer service.
